Being a woman shouldn’t stop you from pursuing your dream; you can be whatever you want to be, all you need is determination, discipline, and hard work to achieve your dreams. As someone who believes in the power of knowledge, I cannot emphasize enough how important education is to women. Of course, you don’t necessarily need a degree to pursue your dream but having a basic education, primary to secondary can take you a long way in life, in fact, data from 68 countries indicates that a woman's education is a key factor in determining a child's survival. It is indeed heartbreaking to know that in a world where women completing their doctorate degree, there are almost 530 million women never got a chance at education. There are hundreds of philanthropic initiatives available out there, and you can help from the comfort of your couch. How? Get social. Support shops that support girls’ education. Donate! As Gandhi said once, "Be the change you want to see in the world".
